Patrick Faurot-Pigeon and Lidia Cangiano just got off the boat from Europe. Why the former left the comfort of the Vermont winters, nobody knows; why the latter scorned the volcanic coasts of Italy, remains a mystery. Nevertheless, they both happened upon the swampy backwaters of Germany where they met in the burning Berlin Wald Art Scene. They ended up living and performing in the Karmanoia Gaia Theater, a free-absurd-militant-dramatic stage/labyrinth/concert hall/forest. Patrick and Lidia come from a background in theater, clown, mime, music, dance and puppetry (once in a while but not always in isolation but rather collaboration one at a time but sometimes all at once, perhaps?), which they combine in their performances for the stage, street, and train!
