Scraped from the waxy drippings encrusting a contemporary candelabrum of extreme Gothic design. Provenance: candelabrum belonged to Cher (1946 – ), entertainment personality of stage, screen, and exotic personal appearances (Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Monte Carlo, and other global venues), known for her “over-the-top” physical appearance and costumes of outlandish incandescence. Candles are imagined to have belonged to Cher.

A multi-generational career that has waxed and waned, and that has touched so many people, focuses our attention on the detritus of the candelabrum, now embosomed in our dearest musings.
