Monoprint Stylus. Bamboo with applied monoprint ink. From the studio of Margaret Lampe Kannenstine. 1980-1999, c.e. 17 – 7.5 cm dim.

Used in a Woodstock, Vermont art studio and monoprint workspace. The “stylus” so called was originally a part of a bamboo pen intended for India ink but was transformed by the artist for a more smeary, scrappy, tactile usage.
