Emergency First Aid Kit.
Painted wood, metal and bottles some in original packaging. Tip Top Building (Smith, or Vermont Baking Company, Building), North Main Street, White River Jct., Vermont. Ca. 1950’s, c.e. with later additions.
The contents of this First Aid Station point to a mid-century origin. However, the influence of later, “naturopathic” medicines is evident. A former industrial building was converted to artist’s studios and other various uses at the turn of the century.
